The coronavirus testing facility run by the Hygiene and Epidemiology Centre of Sverdlovsk Region in Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) now operates round the clock. Everyone can pass a test on the ground floor of the passenger terminal in the Arrival Lounge of international airlines.
Tests are delivered in a comfortable environment, the results being sent to emails within one day and clients can order them both in Russian and English. For their convenience the scan is forwarded on an official form that can then be uploaded onto the website of Public Services within 3 days after a return from abroad.
Stringent measures are taken at Koltsovo to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Wearing a mask is mandatory within the airport precincts. All visitors to the airport pass through thermovision monitoring (infrared scanning), whereas public spaces and check-in counters are treated with disinfectants. Signposts and PA alerts remind of the need to keep social distancing.
