A new system of visual and sound awareness has been commissioned in Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) to alert passengers to important information. The system comprises two components: visual (flight information display) and sound (announcer’s voice) – that simultaneously broadcast information in the airport’s terminals.
The information display boasts modern design: data about flights are brought out in the gray backdrop; to ease the perception, the display is split into contrasting information units. Information about the flight status, check-in counter numbers and boarding gate is displayed. Information about code sharing flights operated by several carriers is displayed in one line rather than separate lines, on an alternating basis.
The public address system has also been renewed and now you can hear a new voice from Koltsovo airport’s speakers that belongs to one of announcers on national TV channels. A flexible sound module tuning system not only allows timely broadcasting of standard messages, but also translating them into different languages in no time.
