A new air carrier will start flights in the Koltsovo International Airport (member of the Airports of Regions Holding). The Kazakhstan-based SCAT air carrier will fly en route Taraz - Ekaterinburg - Taraz from October 29.
Flights will be made weekly on Mondays. Departure from Taraz to Ekaterinburg is at 01.00 am and arrival at 02.50 am. Departure from Ekaterinburg to Taraz at 04.40; arrival at the destination at 08.30 local time. The travel time will be about three hours. Flights will be made by Boeing 757-200 with capacity up to 235 passengers.
SCAT airline is one of the largest air carriers of Kazakhstan. Its fleet comprises 21 aircraft, including five long-range airplanes. The airline operates over 80 domestic and international air routes. Taraz is the ancient and one of the largest cities of Kazakhstan, situated in the south of the country on the border with Kyrgyzstan.
