Restarting the international air travel shall be accompanied by rigorous compliance with Enactment No. 7 by Chief National Medical Officer of the Russian Federation dated 18.03.2020 “On enforcing a lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
As per the decision of the Russian government, regular international flights are restarted from midnight 01.08.2020 between the airports of Moscow, Moscow Region, Saint-Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and the following foreign states: UK (London), Tanzania (Zanzibar) and Turkey (Istanbul and Ankara).
Starting on midnight, 10.08.2020, Moscow time, regular international air travel and chartered flights are resumed between the said airports of the Russian Federation and the following cities of the Turkish Republic: Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman.
All Russian citizens arriving from abroad must:
fill out a special form on the Public Services resource, when they check in for a flight,
fill out a questionnaire on board their plane in Russian,
upload the results of testing for coronavirus onto the said form during three calendar days.
All foreign citizens arriving in the territory of the Russian Federation must:
provide information about the negative result of biomaterial PCR testing for COVID-19, with samples taken not earlier than three calendar days before their arrival in the Russian Federation,
fill out a questionnaire in English or Russian on board the plane,
in the lack of a medical document confirming the negative result of laboratory examination, pass a laboratory investigation in the territory of Russia during three calendar days upon arrival.
An air carrier may decide not to let passengers on board without a medical document confirming a negative result of PCR testing for COVID-19.
In relation to all Russian and foreign citizens arriving in the country, their filled questionnaires are handed over within one day to a territorial body of the Russian consumer health watchdog, depending on their final destination.
All persons arriving in Russia are notified of Enactment No. 7 by Chief National Medical Officer of the Russian Federation, dated 18.03.2020.
