Scheduled Air Traffic Opened between Ekaterinburg and Chisinau

The first scheduled flight to Chisinau took place on April 29 in the Koltsovo International Airport (member of the Airports of Regions Holding). Embraer-190 of Air Moldova departed from Ekaterinburg at 04.00 and successfully landed in the capital of Moldova at 06.00 local time.

Flights between Ekaterinburg and Chisinau will be made twice per week during the first months of flights. An increase to three flights weekly is scheduled from May 30.

The direct scheduled air service between capitals of the Urals and Moldavia appears for the first time in the modern history of the Koltsovo Airport. Launch of the new flight from the air harbor of Ekaterinburg will not merely make possible for Ural tourists to enjoy glories of hospitable Moldova but also to plan complex routes to West Europe with a connection in Chisinau, simple and clear for the Russian-speaking tourists.
