Aeroflot, the country’s largest airline, is launching its first flight programme to Russian Black Sea resorts from Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC). The first flights to Sochi and Simferopol are departing from Ekaterinburg already today.
In the future, the carrier will perform flights to Sochi seven times a week. The departure from Koltsovo is scheduled for 16:20 local time on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays; for 20:30 on Thursdays and Saturdays; 18:20 on Wednesdays; and 18:25 on Sundays. Flights to Simferopol are scheduled daily, except Tuesdays, and there are two flights each on Mondays and Fridays, with departure times depending on the day of the week and the season.
Aeroflot will also start flying to Anapa from Ekaterinburg on May 29. Daily flights are scheduled with the notable exception of Mondays. The flights will depart from Koltsovo at 04:25 and 07:20 local time on Tuesdays, at 16:45 on Thursdays and Saturdays, at 08:35 on Sundays, and at 20:55 on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Starting on 20 June 2021, Aeroflot plans flights to Gelendzhik on Thursdays and Sundays. The departure time is 08:20.
The flights to all destinations will be operated by Airbus A320 that takes up to 158 passengers on board. Travel time will be just over three hours. With the new carrier flying to these destinations, the total number of daily flights from Koltsovo to the Black Sea resorts will reach 21 in June.
