Aeroflot Airlines has launched an international flight programme from Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Aeroports of Regions MC). The first flight to Yerevan took off on the 14th of June: last Monday 153 passengers flew to Armenia from Ekaterinburg.
From now on flights to Yerevan will be operated on Mondays and Fridays at 03:35, and starting from 2 July, also at 01:30 local time. Regular flights are operated by Airbus A320. The flight duration is 3.5 hours.
Currently, direct flights to the Armenian capital from Koltsovo are operated by Ural Airlines on Mondays and Wednesdays and by Nordwind Airlines on Thursdays. With the new carrier coming to the route, the total number of flights to Yerevan will increase to five a week.
