A capsule hotel has opened its doors in Koltsovo airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding). Each capsule represents a 2 by 1.6 meters cell where passengers waiting for their flights can make themselves comfortable. Coziness and modern technology, futurist design of sleeping places coupled with environmentally friendly design solutions blend organically in the interior space.
Each capsule is furnished with an orthopedic mattress and “memory” cushions. Everything necessary is in place here for comfortable pastime: an individually adjusted ventilation system, TV, lighting, 220V electric outlets and USB for mobile gadget recharge, a safe, a mirror with illumination. Wi-Fi is also available.
This is a 24/7 hotel, with 14 capsules accommodated in the public space of Terminal B, at the second floor level (near the children’s play zone).
Koltsovo boasts versatile leisure infrastructure, with the four-star Angelo by Vienna House Ekaterinburg and three-star Liner Hotel located within a walking distance, in addition to the capsule hotel.
