Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) now offers an opportunity not only to be tested for the coronavirus infection but also to take a vaccine against COVID-19; the necessary conditions have been provided at the airport’s health centre. The first batch of the vaccine will make vaccination more accessible to the airport employees and Sverdlovsk Region's residents who set out for a trip or come back. The vaccination centre is located on the ground floor of the domestic airline terminal, open on weekdays from 13:00 to 19:00 local time.
The vaccination is administered in two stages: the second component of the vaccine is injected 21 days after the first shot. You will need to bring your Russian passport and compulsory health insurance policy or SNILS to get vaccinated. Before vaccination, a mandatory health check-up is performed at the vaccination station.
Koltsovo Airport is the first Russian regional airport with a vaccination centre, as all necessary steps are taken there to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. At the airport, it is compulsory to wear a protective face mask and mind social distancing. Three coronavirus testing facilities using a PCR method are in operation at the passenger terminal.
