Direct flights to Egypt are resumed fr om Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) for the first time since 2015. In May, Azur air will launch flights from Ekaterinburg to Cairo. Prior to the closure of air links with Egypt in 2015, flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh had been operated from Koltsovo.
Charter flights on the route are scheduled starting on 1 May 2021 Saturdays by Boeing 757 seating up to 238 passengers. The flight will depart from Koltsovo at 10:55 local time and will last 5 hours and 40 minutes.
