Flights to Tobolsk have commenced from Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC). The first flight to Remezov Airport was operated by Red Wings Airlines. The flights on the route will be performed twice a week – Mondays and Thursdays.
Flights between Yekaterinburg and Tobolsk have been included in the federal program for air transportation subsidies, which has considerably reduced air flight costs for passengers. You can check flight schedules and purchase tickets on the airline's website or through the airlines' sales agency.
The Tobolsk Airport was built with the assistance of the oil and gas chemical giant SIBUR, in partnership with the Tyumen Region, within a record-breaking time of 2 years. It is equipped with a 2,400-meter runway and has the capacity to receive and provide services for modern aircraft such as SSJ-100, Boeing-737, and Airbus A320/321. The capacity is up to 380 people per hour.
Tobolsk is referred to as the “pearl of Siberia” due to organic juxtaposition of history and modernity, the beauty of nature and architecture.
