Flydubai Airlines has restarted scheduled flights to Dubai from Koltsovo International Airport (operated by Airports of Regions MC) on 4 April 2021. The carrier ceased flights from Ekaterinburg at the end of March 2020 due to restrictions imposed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The night before, the Arab airline’s flight left Ekaterinburg for the UAE. From now on flights will be performed once a week, on Sundays, by Boeing 737-800 with 189 passenger seats. The flight will depart from Koltsovo at 16:10 local time and will take just over five hours.
The Ural Airlines currently fly from Koltsovo to Dubai. Since the international air service from Ekaterinburg was launched in February 2021 the number of passengers on that route has exceeded 1,900.
