Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) is the first among Russia’s regional airports to be granted a permit by the Federal Air Transport Agency (FATA) to operate Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 airliners as well as their modifications. A respective record was entered into the Airfield State Registration Certificate.
Both aircrafts are wide-body long-range airliners. Boeing 787 Dreamliner seats from 240 to 330 passengers and is capable of flying up to 14,000 km without intermediate landings. Airbus A350 seats up to 336 travelers and can perform long-haul flights to the distance of more than 18,000 km.
We should remind that Koltsovo airport can receive almost all types of passenger planes, including various modifications of Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR and others.
