Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) hit the TOP-100 rankings of the world’s most punctual air hubs in October. As per the report of UK-based international analytical agency OAG, Koltsovo was ranked 80th last month.
As reported by the Agency, 1,811 regular flights arrived in and departed from Koltsovo in October, with 90.7% of these according to schedule. The Agency counted the flights that were not more than 15 minutes late in their arrival in Koltsovo or departure from this airport.
The Karup airport in Denmark topped the punctuality rankings in October. Besides Koltsovo, other air hubs run by the Airports of Regions holding also cracked the top hundred of the punctuality rating: Strigino ranked 6th, Kurumoch ranked 21st, Platov – 37th and Novy Urengoy airport – 88th.
OAG is an analytical agency specializing in civil aviation, drawing up monthly and yearly reports that allow identification of most punctual carriers, busiest routes and leaders among air hubs. The OAG rankings feature only those airports for which analysts have more than 80% of flight departure and arrival data. Cargo and charter flights are not taken into account.
