The catering service of Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) has developed a new menu for the spring-summer navigation that features over 200 items. A greater part of the assortment has been designed with seasons in mind.
The main changes concern the line of dishes for business travellers. Alongside traditional hot fish, meat and poultry dishes, new items are on offer as well: hot onigiri with salmon, pike-perch with pesto, involtini with cheese and mushrooms, as well as turkey with zucchini and other dishes. Travellers will also be delighted with the wide selection of salads, including the veal salad with coriander chips, vegetable salad with quinoa and green salad with eel. Special mention should be made of the breakfast dishes: in addition to conventional omelets, Koltsovo catering chef has included honey pancakes with kiwi, steak on toast and Italian polenta in the menu.
For economy class passengers, the summer menu includes fish, meat and vegetable snacks, hot dishes, desserts and breakfasts. On the flights from Koltsovo, passengers will be able to taste fish in curry sauce, spicy beef, pilaf, various omelets and pancakes, and several kinds of sandwiches. In addition to the main menu, Koltsovo catering offers a kid menu and a vegetarian menu.
The airlines themselves compile a menu according to flight destinations from the assortment available. During the spring and summer navigation, the above-mentioned meals will be served on flights operated by Red Wings, Ural Airlines, Aeroflot, Rossiya, Azur, RusLine and other carriers.
