Two new airlines will commence flights to Istanbul from Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC). Since March 31, Nordwind Airlines has launched charter flights to the Turkish megacity, and since April 1 – Pobeda Airlines.
The first Nordwind flight has left Ekaterinburg for Istanbul this morning with a full load. The flights will be performed Wednesdays and Saturdays by Airbus A321 departing from Koltsovo at 04:55 and 16:50 local time, respectively.
Pobeda flights are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, starting on 1 April 2021. Two more departures are expected to be added at the end of April – Mondays and Fridays. The flights will be performed by Boeing 737 departing from Koltsovo at 08:15 Thursdays, and at 07:55 local time on other days. The flight duration will be about 5 hours.
Starting on 29 April 2021, Turkish Airlines will launch regular scheduled flights from Ekaterinburg to Istanbul with Airbus A319 used on this route. With the coming of three airlines the total number of weekly flights to Istanbul from Koltsovo will reach nine.
