Koltsovo International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) has launched a new scheduled foreign route. The Ural Airlines has commenced flights to Albania. Today, at 06.30 local time, the carrier’s Airbus A320 took off from Koltsovo heading for Tirana.
Flights between Ekaterinburg and Tirana are scheduled once a week on Wednesdays. The flight will depart from Koltsovo at 06:30 and arrive in the Rinas Airport at 08:50. The return flight will depart at 09:40 and arrive in Ekaterinburg at 17:45. The travel time will be slightly over 5 hours.
It is to be noted that direct regular flights to Tirana from Koltsovo had never been operated before. Today Albania is one of the few countries in the world completely open for tourists: you do not need a visa or a PCR test. Travellers from the Urals can make a holiday either in Albania or in neighbouring Montenegro.
Flight tickets can be purchased on the carrier’s website.
