The Koltsovo International Airport is one of the largest regional airports in Russia in terms of passenger traffic and part of the Airports of Regions holding.

  • The Airport is the member of ACI (Airports Council International) since 1998.
  • Koltsovo was recognized as the best airport of CIS region as of 2012 year-end and earned Routes CIS Airport Marketing Awards.
  • In 2013, it joined ranks of top five best airports of the globe with the passenger traffic up to 4 million passengers according to World Routes Awards..
  • It received the high rating of 4 stars in 2015 as a result of Skytrax research.
  • In 2018, according to the world Airport Awards by Skytrax Koltsovo entered the top ten airports in the world with traffic from 5 to 10 million passengers.
  • In 2019, 2020 and 2022, Koltsovo became the laureate of the national award Air Gates of Russia in the category of the Best Air Freight Infrastructure.
  • The Koltsovo International Airport received the award as the Best Regional Airport of Russia and CIS in the nomination from prestigious World Airport Awards 2019.
  • In 2021 became one the first airports in Russia to be certified with the 5-Star COVID-19 Safety Rating, by international air transport rating agency Skytrax.
