A direct regular flight to Orenburg will soon be resumed from Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding). Starting on January 13 flights to Orenburg international airport Central will be performed by Orenburzhye Airlines.
Flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday by L-410 jet. The departure to Orenburg is scheduled for 06:15; from Yekaterinburg – for 09:30, local time. The traveling time will be 2h 15min.
The same carrier had already operated regular Yekaterinburg-Orenburg flights prior to May 2018. In 2017 the passenger traffic on this route reached 5,200 flyers.
Koltsovo airport is a leader of regional air transportation services. Passengers of Koltsovo can fly to more than 40 cities of Russia. During 11 months of 2019 the passenger traffic at the Yekaterinburg air hub on domestic routes (exclusive of Moscow) rose 15% year-on-year, having exceeded 2 million passengers.
