The photo exposition “Russia: Flying Through Ages” has opened at Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) on the National Unity Day. The exposition of 40 works is accommodated at the second floor level of the passenger terminal in the domestic airlines departure area.
Best Russian photographers including those from Sverdlovsk Region have exhibited their works here. They captured the most mesmerizing national landscapes: gorgeous views of the Curonian Spit and Klyuchevskoy Volcano, the snow-clad Arctic, Ural Mountains. Daytime and nocturnal views of Yekaterinburg, well familiar to local residents – the city pond waterfront, circus building and others – can also be found in the exposition.
The project is based on the eponymous album that has gathered more than 300 photographic portrayals of Russia in its natural, architectural and cultural diversity. The album features photographs by hundreds of authors from different regions of Russia. The photo show will be open for passengers and guests of Koltsovo airport till 06 December 2020.
