The Kazakhstani company Qazaq Air opens flights from Koltsovo International Airport (operated by Airports of Regions MC) to Nur-Sultan this winter. Flights to the capital of Kazakhstan are scheduled to commence on December 27, 2021.
The flights will be operated twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, by a De Havilland Dash-8-Q400NG aircraft seating up to 86 passengers. Departures from Koltsovo will take place at 21:00 local time on Monday, and at 09:25 on Thursday. The flight time will be 2 hours.
Qazaq Air is an interregional airline based at Nur-Sultan airport. The carrier boasts the newest fleet in Kazakhstan and the CIS with an average age of 3.5 years that comprises five modern turboprop De Havilland Dash-8-Q400NG aircraft manufactured in Canada. The company's logo is made up of 14 circles representing 14 regions of Kazakhstan.
All those arriving by air in Kazakhstan are required to submit a negative PCR test for COVID-19 made no earlier than 72 hours before crossing the border. Citizens who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 may, with documentary evidence, not submit a PCR test results for COVID-19 when travelling to Kazakhstan.
