Greek carrier resumes flights from Koltsovo

Flights to Thessaloniki are about to resume from Koltsovo international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding). Starting on June 1, Ellinair Airlines will fly twice a week to this Greek destination. Flights from Yekaterinburg are scheduled for 06:35 Saturdays and 06:00 Wednesdays. The traveling time will be 4h 50min. Flights will be performed by Airbus A320 seating 180 passengers and Airbus A319 seating 144 travelers.

Thessaloniki is second biggest city of Greece, washed by waters of Thermaikos Gulf in the Aegean Sea. There are many resort towns and villages in the vicinity of Thessaloniki with all essential amenities. Besides the warm sea and sandy beaches, the city is famous for its historical and cultural sites.

Koltsovo had already had flights to Thessaloniki in its timetable prior to October 2018, also operated by Ellinair. This destination is popular with people of the Urals: in 2018 the traffic exceeded 10,000 passengers.
